Placement guide
A printable, per-vehicle guide to discreet, protected spots. Keep it in the glovebox, or hand one to every driver in the fleet.
Three rules for every vehicle
Non-metal surface?
Clean the spot, stick on one of the two included metal sheets, wait 24 h, then snap the magnetic case onto it.

Avoid: Engine block, exhaust tunnel, inside the bumper where road spray hits.

Avoid: Exhaust side of the chassis, tray floor exposed to loads and weather.

Avoid: Door skins that get slammed, floor areas under heavy cargo.

Avoid: Coupling area (pressure washing), exposed top of the drawbar.

Avoid: Near the gas bottles' heat path, exposed chassis bottom edges.

Avoid: Engine cases, exhaust headers, swingarm (spray).

Avoid: Hot engine covers on plant, surfaces that get hit or dragged.

01 · Attach
Place Tracksy on the vehicle, trailer, equipment or item you want to track. Use the metal sheet on non-metal surfaces.
02 · Connect
Open Find My on your iPhone → Items → Add Item → Other Supported Item. Tracksy appears in your Items list.
03 · Find
See its last reported location on the map, play a sound when nearby, or enable Lost Mode in Find My.
Tracksy reports its last known location through nearby Apple devices on the Find My network. It is not a live cellular GPS tracker and is not a theft-recovery system. Name each tag after its vehicle in Find My so your list stays tidy.
