Choose a dry, protected spot — avoid direct road spray and pressure washing.

Steel shielding can reduce Bluetooth range. Deep inside an all-steel box, updates may be less frequent.

Tracksy reports its last known location via nearby Apple devices on the Find My network; it is not a live GPS tracker and is not a theft-recovery system. Find My's unwanted-tracking alerts may notify a person if an unfamiliar tag travels with them.
