How location updates happen
When any Apple device passes within Bluetooth range of your Tracksy, it anonymously and securely relays the tag's position to Apple's servers. You then see the last reported location in the Find My app. Updates are frequent in populated areas and less frequent in remote places.
Phone & network requirements
iPhone or iPad running iOS / iPadOS 14.8 or later. Android is not supported. There is no cellular modem in the device, so it does not need — and cannot use — a mobile network of its own.
Subscription
No subscription and no extra app — it uses the Find My app already on your iPhone.
Battery
Replaceable CR2025 coin-cell battery (170 mAh) — no charging, swap it when Find My reports it low. Battery life depends on how often the tag is pinged and whether you play sounds, so we don't publish a fixed figure. CR2025 cells are inexpensive and available at any supermarket.
Water & weather
Not rated for water resistance — mount it in a dry, protected spot. Avoid submersion, road spray and pressure washing — inside a wheel arch, under a seat or inside a case lid are ideal.

Tracker 3.17 × 3.17 × 0.8 cm · Magnetic case 4.6 × 3.5 × 0.7 cm · ABS case. The magnetic case attaches straight to steel surfaces — no bracket required.
Range
No Bluetooth range limit of its own: it reports through any nearby Apple device on the Find My network, so it can be located wherever Apple devices are around.
Limitations
Not continuous live tracking. No geofencing or alerts beyond what Find My offers. Location accuracy depends on the relaying device. Find My includes anti-stalking protections, so an unknown tag travelling with someone may trigger an alert on their iPhone.
Setup
Find My → Items → Add Item → Other Supported Item. Hold the tag near your iPhone, follow the prompts and give it a name like 'Box trailer'.
Privacy
Location relays are end-to-end encrypted by Apple's Find My network. Tracksy does not run its own servers for location data and cannot see where your items are.

Attach
Place Tracksy on the vehicle, trailer, equipment or item you want to track. Use the metal sheet on non-metal surfaces.
Connect
Open Find My on your iPhone → Items → Add Item → Other Supported Item. Tracksy appears in your Items list.
Find
See its last reported location on the map, play a sound when nearby, or enable Lost Mode in Find My.
